I’m glad somebody has written a song (even with its glaring grammatical error) about the variety that is a part of being Southern. I’m not sure it’s all completely accurate about every Southerner or even myself, but it does recognize that Southern heritage is much more than Robert E. Lee, ANV flags and Confederate ancestry. At a variety of levels, it celebrates the diversity that is Southern heritage. The video premieres this weekend on CMT, so it is new enough I can’t embed it.
